The Order of the Eastern Star is an organization for women and men, who practice the principals of charity, truth and loving kindness by dedicated service to their communities and their members.

The Pond Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star (#853) meets at the West Seneca Masonic Hall in West Seneca, NY.  Many of the members are relatives of Lodge members, and some of the Brethren are members as well.  It is chartered under the Grand Chapter OES New York.

The chapter derives its name from Annie M. Pond of the Pond Cosmetic company. Our collection fund is named for her husband Frank N. Pond.  Annie served the Grand Chapter OES NY as Grand Secretary from 1915 -1966.

Meetings: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 7:30 pm
West Seneca Masonic Hall / Main St. & Mill St., West Seneca, NY

Every year, the Worthy Matron & Worthy Patron choose a theme for that year.

For 2016, the emblem is the Bee, and the motto is “Make new friends but keep the old; One is silver and the other gold.” The flowers are all flowers that surround our “Pond”, and the colors are Black and Gold.
